I’ve never been the Blogging type. It has always felt like a sort of grand ritual, and much too formal for me. If you’ve ever spun up a blog on WordPress then I’m sure that you know how complicated it can be. There are plugins, pages, drafts, all that stuff. The advent of the smallweb and microblogs has me thinking, perhaps blogging doesn’t need to be complicated. Maybe I can just show up in my tie-dye shirt and cats-in-space pajama pants and write something.
And so, here I am. Writing is a good exercise for the mind, even if I am not very good at it. I think my goal is to start small and get posting semi-regularly. I’m not here to change the world, I’m just here to do my best, and maybe change myself.
